2025 Virtual Annual Conference

GPA's 2025 annual meeting theme, "Reaching the Margins: Meeting the Needs of Underserved and Vulnerable Populations", will allow us to focus on addressing mental health disparities for our clients and in the communities we serve.

Although the broader field of psychology has made numerous strides in recent years toward prioritizing accessibility and equity in the provision of services and resources, much work remains to be done. There is striking evidence that underserved (persons who live in rural areas, hold marginalized identities, etc.) and vulnerable (women, children and adolescents, incarcerated individuals, etc.) populations experience disproportionately poor mental health outcomes and face barriers to person- and culture-centered mental health care. Please join us as we gather to promote social justice and culturally competent, evidence-based care in our work. During this annual meeting and beyond, we seek to address challenges and opportunities to meet the mental health needs of our underserved, vulnerable clients.

While we aim to have many workshops at the conference that are consistent with this theme, we welcome workshop submissions on any topic.
